The "Project"

Beckett Smith

On April 26th, 2018 our son Beckett chose to leave this world. He was a funny, gentle and brilliant young man with a bright future ahead of him. Wise beyond his years, he had accomplished much in his short time with us. Beckett was passionate about technology, especially robotics and was dedicated to mentoring and teaching others. He believed people deserved to be treated respectfully and not judged for their beliefs.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

To honor his memory we have created The Beckett Project, to talk about mental health, tackle the stigma associated with suicide, and give back to our community.

The Beckett Project has a fund at London Community Foundation.  The fund will sponsor and aid local educational and community initiatives that reflect Beckett’s passions and ideals.
